Plans continue for the Golden Years Open Day which is being held on Friday April 8th from 10.30 to 13.00. It is expected that there will be representatives from many organisations giving free information about all the services and opportunities available to enhance the lives of those in their Golden years. There will be refreshments and some entertainment as well. Please come along and support it and you will find it very interesting and beneficial.

The Quiz night, our first for over two years, which took place at the end of January, was a great success and raised over £500 for the Centre which will be used to benefit the clients. Thank you to all the people who attended enabling the evening to be so successful.

The two centres continue to provide different types of activities to keep our clients happily occupied. Upstairs, Bucks Adult Learning will be providing a 6 week course at the Centre offering Art Classes to our older people. Some of the clients were able to do some flower arranging or jewellery making. A version of Pitch and Put golf was enjoyed by others and good exercise was provided by batting a balloon.

Downstairs clients have enjoyed a meal out generously provided by Sally one of our clients. A small maths group have been enjoying building 3 dimensional shapes and another talented client has made a wooden turtle planter. Clients have also enjoyed baking [and eating] Victoria sponges.
