Update February 2026
What a wonderful February we’ve enjoyed here at the Princes Centre! It has been a hive of activity across all our centres, and while we’ve loved the energy indoors, we’re all looking forward to stepping out into the spring sunshine when it finally arrives.
Firstly myself and Marina would like to give our thanks to Maggie for the amazing updates she has done over the years to support us at the Princes Centre. Not only did Maggie take the time to keep you up to date on everything we get up to she is an integral part of our board of trustees and lends her time here weekly to volunteer and support our clients. So again, many thanks Maggie.
This month, we’re delighted to shine a light on the ways we support and serve our community, while also sharing our focus for the year ahead. For us, 2026 is all about collaboration, building intergenerational connections with Risborough Nursery and Bourne End New Beginnings, and promoting independence and inclusion within our communities. As well as continuing our connection with Joan in Bourne End and her Therapy dog Bella.
This month also marks the launch of our Friday Lunch Club, which will be held on the third Friday of each month, at the Risborough Centre. We’re looking forward to welcoming people from our community and surrounding areas to enjoy a hot, two-course lunch, freshly cooked by our centre chef, Em, and served at the table with the support of our younger clients. Thank you to our community for supporting us by collecting chocolate tubs for Macmillan, we took 104 tubs to the collection point.
