You can help the Princes Centre’s work live on in the future

If you or a loved one have benefitted from the warm and welcoming care of the Princes Centre, you will know how important it is and may feel that you would like others to benefit in a similar way now and in the future. Leaving a legacy in memory of your loved one would be a positive and enduring way to provide the same benefits to others who need our special care.

After you have taken care of the needs of your family, please consider how a gift would keep alive the memory of your loved one and allow you the satisfaction of knowing that you have made possible the continued wonderful work of the Princes Centre.

Why help?

We do not know what the future holds and whether our parents, our spouses or ourselves might one day require day care and we might also in the future benefit from knowing our loved ones are in safe hands for part of the week.

We want to ensure that the Centre maintains a robust and healthy service and that it is maintained to the highest standard.

Modern and comfortable facilities are much more inspiring and inviting than those that have got old and tired. As time passes, old equipment eventually needs upgrading and installations require maintenance:

The minibus, instrumental in allowing people to attend the Centre as well as going out on the trips they enjoy so much, will eventually need more frequent and more expensive repairs and in time, replacement
Armchairs get tired and less comfortable as well as accumulating the odd stain and need replacing from time to time
Carpets get a lot of wear and spills
Computers and laptops which provide clients with the skills to cope with modern technology, all require occasional upgrading or renewal.

We would like to continue to treat our clients to entertainment and outings to enrich their lives, as well as making Christmas, birthdays and other occasions special for them.

How you can help

If you decide to help by remembering the Princes Centre in your Will, you may find it helpful to take these words with you to your appointment with your professional advisor. They can then use it to incorporate your specific legal instructions into your Will:

“I give the sum of £ (or specify a percentage of estate) to the Princes Risborough Centre Ltd of Clifford Road, Princes Risborough HP27 0DP (registered charity number 1151083) for its general purposes and I declare that the receipt of the honorary treasurer or other officer of the Princes Risborough Centre Ltd for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said legacy.”
