History of The Princes Centre

Rescued from closure in 2012 by the local community, the Princes Centre in Princes Risborough continues to go from strength to strength. Its priority being always to provide the highest quality of care to its clients resulted in winning the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. This was in addition to its Not for Profit Business of the Year Award and Employee of the Year Award and Community Project of the Year award it had won previously.

Commended for “the deep roots within the community and the passion with which it looks after its clients”, both our Centres provide respite for carers and an inspirational environment for elderly people and those with disabilities who are looking to make new friends and want to continue learning and living a fulfilling life.

Due to their success the Princes Centre has gone on to rescue a second day care centre in Bourne End in 2018, creating The Princes Centre Bourne End.
